Through out the process of making my music magazine I have used many different forms of software. Below will show details of what I used each piece of software for.
To begin with I started the whole process by using Blogger. Blogger has been the main thing I have used throughout the process of making my magazine. I used blogger to post about my updates of the different stages of designing and making of my magazine, from the beginning and throughout. When posting updates, I used many different methods to show the progress I have made.
Once I had started to design my magazine, I used Photoshop to create my front cover. This allowed me to add layers, images, text and backgrounds. I also used Photoshop to create moodboards
I had to use InDesign to make my contents page and my double page spread. In design allowed me to create collumns, margins, and techniques such as allowing me to shadow backgrounds and text of my choice. Once I had finished my front cover, I uploaded this onto InDesign.
When evaluating my work, I used Photo Booth so that my class mates and peers could give me feedback easily and on the spot.
While taking my photographs, I learned how to use the camera correctly, how to set up the lighting, how to use the studio approriatly, and finally how to upload my pictures onto the computer.
